WEFF Industry Award went to Nia’s Melancholy; produced by Andrew Arbuthnot and written and directed by S.F. Tusa.
Bear UP! was the winner of the WEFF Animation Award; produced by Ahmed Nashabe/Luke Harris and directed by Ahmed Nashabe.
The WEFF Community Award went to Push Bike; produced by Desi Achilleos and directed by Mairi Cameron.
S.F. Tusa, the Writer / Director of Nia’s Melancholy was also the recipient of the WEFF Indigenous Film Award.
The winners, as judged by community and industry panels, were:
2010 Industry Award – Sound of Cry – Director: Michael Mier, Producer: Lav Bodnaruk.
2010 Community Award – My Country – Director: Odette Best, Producer: Sally Madgwick.
2010 WEFF Award – Economic Hitmen - Director & Producer: Joe Brumm.
