EXPOSURE, RECOGNITION & CASH PRIZES
WEFF rewards winning filmmakers with cash prizes, not to mention public recognition of their work and priceless exposure to the creative appetites of Brisbane’s cultural participants.
In 2012 a total of $3,000 cash will awarded to filmmakers for their efforts. This cash, not only helps the filmmakers to recover the costs associated with their labours-of-love, but provides support for their next filmmaking endeavour.
In each session the festival’s best filmmakers will be recognised with a cash prize.
WEFF 2012 award categories are as follows:
Best film judged by Industry
Best film judged by Community
Best animated film
Entries close 20th January 2012, and it is free to submit a film. Click below for submission details and entry form.
